Flathead Lake Cherry industry is displayed in a very complete collection at the Miracle of America Museum.  From 6 rare orchard tractors and crawlers to a 1949 cherry red Ford 1/2 ton pickup.  It is appropriately named a “Flathead Cherry Hauler” for several reasons; it is powered by the original V8 flathead engine, is in  cherry condition, and it is hauling two 3 foot diameter cherries made by sculpture artist Gil Mangels, founder of the museum.  Also see a growing collection of unique cherry pitters, pruners, and boxes with area growers names stenciled on the end dating back to the 1930’s.
